Went for ClubFest and put myself on a dozen more listserves, skulked around the Greek houses looking for purported party (false tipoff), realised that (due to previous lack of internet and hence inadequate facebooking) had missed J's Death of Summer party (!!) the night before. Squished bananas for "goreng pisang bread" (recipe website's euphemism is "Banana-Stuffed French Toast") which thankfully materialised on Saturday morning without kitchen turning into fallout zone.
Love love love classes so far, but foresee that effervescent enthusiasm will wane soon enough.
PREPARE people pop up everywhere on campus! That, or I'm just seeing more of Cornell geographically. Game theory class just moved itself to, wtf, beyond the Ag School. That's like, the Pulau Ubin of central campus! Getting to class is physical exercise enough but this is ridiculous - especially since if one looks at my class schedule now I've been registered for two PE classes (not of my own volition but a result of bureaucratic snailspeed updating).
Shups dearest it looks like I can't make LA for fall break :/ Seriously though drop me an email with your campus address and phone number! Or facebook me or something.
Thought: How many people do you know whose names begin with 'J'?
