World Cup Mania! That was 4 long years ago when 413 watched Korea-Turkey on the big screen outside Suntec City and took a photo next to Coca-Cola's World Cup display. Ithaca has finally come to its senses and started broadcasting matches outdoors, except that (surprise surprise) weather is shitty (rainy).
Brazil's president is wondering if Ronaldo is fat. I understand this is a matter of pressing importance because I root for Brazil too, but surely he has better things to do - like, for example, start a visa waiver for Singapore citizens so I can have my Rockin' Rio spring break.
Domestic Goddess 101 begins Summer 2006; Yingyi in Singapore and Christina in Ithaca! I heart my favourite rockstar for being an all-too-willing subject (c.f. none too impressive French toast this morning) :P
A plug for the Greek tourism board: GO DREAM IN BLUE AND WHITE! Friendly people endless blue skies cool ruins and SANTORINI. Caveat is that you can't kiss the statue of Alexander at the Parthenon museum :/ But - Athens has a new airport and a new subway; there's nothing cooler than a city whose subway works get delayed because they keep digging up ancient artifacts.
I am also amore per Venezia, but not too much with Rome. Roman drivers have scarred me psychologically and indelibly. Chickens don't cross the road in Rome; they pray to St. Christopher and RUN FOR THEIR LIVES.
