My life since the last post: Overslept (screwed up circadian which is still in tune with NY) and missed ZH's Secret Santa Party, vegged at home, sampled North Indian food at Holland Village with Lyd, re-lived post-finals / NYC revelry with Cornellians for half a day, "planned" Battle of the GPAs / BYOB, suddenly inspired to wonder about ESInDaHouse (annual A15 NYE bacchanalian revels), looking forward to SF but dreading the advent of Spring semester.
And, watching Grey's Anatomy (which is absolutely the best show on Channel 5 right now). Ask me for spoilers, or plugs for the show! (: And Arrested Development!
I never thought that "to lose on the exchange rate" would become a buzzphrase in college student conversations, but there you go. I have lost on the exchange rate, despite Bush II's best efforts at making the USD slide. It could be compulsive overshopping, or a pathetic failed individual attempt at pump-priming the largest economy in the world. I could agonise over that, but I have a huge debt with the bursar's office to clear.
Speaking of which- wouldn't it be cool if all bursar's offices looked like this:
MIT's bursar office, when we visited during Fall Break.Overdue ES-ism, on SQ's Raffles Class, at Newark while waiting for flight to board: "You'd think for the price you pay, they'd provide higher quality entertainment. Like live strippers or something."
