// EDIT// Random bit of trivia! Ho Plaza (pictured above) is named after Minfong Ho's family.

Today: 6/-3 degrees Celsius. Snow showers and flurries through Friday morning. Very windy.

Would you have ever believed that I took these photos 3 days ago?

A temporary respite from rapidly accumulating WORK - who said The Great American Education was easy has obviously never been to Cornell.

It snowed today. Or rather, it sleet-ed. The ground isn't white, the air isn't full of little snowflakes. You just get hit in the face with little chips of ice when you walk to class.

It's a gorgeous day to stay inside and perfect the art of being idle. Jessi next door is singing out loud to Aaron Carter and the Backstreet Boys (haha guilty indulgence) to celebrate the end of her midterms, and Yu.anxiang just came all the way to my hall on his way back to class to show me how he'd perfected Guang Liang's Tong Hua on the piano.

Work tonight, Cayuga's Waiters concert and DH tomorrow, Equitation on Saturday and probably hanging out the library, sleep all day Sunday. At least I'm never really bored - but I wanna go back home! 36 days to NYC, and then 4 more days to sunny (I hope) Singapore.

I am given to impulse buys.

Viva Makanmania!

@1:20 PM

Regular sustenance! Huge 1l bottles of Snapple tea, and SOBE (haha yes I know it's weird) Lizard-Lava. (:

Lincoln Hall, the music place. It's on the corner of the Arts Quad and has a gorgeous library with SO many music scores and a million music studio/labs.

Side of Lincoln, and Baker Lab up on the hill.

Fuertes Observatory, behind North Campus (where the freshmen live). It has a giant telescope, and my hallmates and I went to check it out on Mooncake Festival (would you believe the names Americans give to Chinese festivals?! Nobody around here says Mid-Autumn Festival, partly because, ohwell, it wasn't exactly inthe middle of autumn).

Arts Quad. I think this was when Yingyi and I went to study on Saturday on the Slopes after equitation because it was such a beautiful day! Saw Vow, who was sitting on the lawn outside Balch Hall studying too :P
The view of Baker Hall and West Campus (where the upperclassmen live) from Libe Slopes, where I was studying Psych!

Down to Ho Plaza, which leads to the Engineering Quad, then to Collegetown.

Me in front of the iconic McGraw clock tower!

Me and Honey (the witchy horse I ride for Western Equitation practice) at Christmas Tree Stables.
