In a testament to Ithaca's dysfunctional weather, we hit zero degrees Celsius this morning, which bounced to 12 degrees at 9am barely an hour later.

In a testament to how well-equipped our army is to withstand all weather conditions, my friend survived abovementioned weather-dysfunction with a MIN/DEF jacket.

Random thoughts over the weekend

Leaves in Vermont turn scarlet and gold in fall. Most leaves in Ithaca just turn brown & withery, save for a lucky few (c.f. Red Tree, which has duplicated itself at random points on campus). It must be the depressing academic environment ;)

Fall Break = Tons of fun + Mounting Debt

Mounting debt due to getting Chronic American Consumerism & Extravangance in Massachusetts -> Injection into circular flow (Keynesian pump-priming) -> USD actually rose over the weekend. I kid you not. It's on YahooFinance.

Cornell - Fall Break + Impending prelims = yucky

Ithaca - summer = not good

Desperate Housewives + Sex in the City + Friends (friends, not the show) on a weekend = good

Windbreaker = my new best friend

Down jacket = my future best friend
