Work is boring but slacking during work is fun (: yesterday Yingxuan and I raided the stationery cupboard and took pretty Xerox pens in all the different colours even though according to colour-coding we're only allowed to use pink and other colours reserved for senior people. Jasmine caught us and gave us this mock-disapproving look (actually I dunno if it was real but ohwell), and we got company legal pads too!! One day I shall take a photo of our well-stocked desks, once Yating gives them her tidying-treatment, so Clar shan't have to demand to see my "office" (:
Emails that are irrelevant to work keep me going- especially Estelle's long ranty ones and Shloke's rambling meows (: Miss Pet muchly, and hope she manages to do more shopping in NZ than I managed to- Pet I want our Aria/Esplanade photos!
Postscript to Serene's and Pet's on 15's February-baby-birthday-bash-cum-Esther-bonvoyage: kudos to Serene for arranging whatever, Aria is cool, electric blue shots tasted like bubblegum slurpee. Because I was late and hadn't drunk I had a bunch of tipsy giggly crazy friends, except for the guys who stayed macho and sober!
A friend from French class was trying to teach me the finer points of the Hokkien dialect yesterday and I've decided- at the risk of sounding
rafine- that a lot of it is too dirty to learn :X I remember one day Shloke Estelle and I were at Borders shopping for Teachers' Day presents and we went into hysterics when Est read entries from the Coxford Singlish Dictionary (which we eventually bought for Mr Burge) too loudly!
Speaking of Mr Burge, there's an American manager at my firm who looks like him, only less twinkly. As things would have it, there's another guy who could be Mr Perry!
CNY company dinner at Marriott was lots of laughs! Hahah we egged Hwei into opening this
hongbao on the table which unexpectedly spewed out a cloud of Five-Spice powder (for the
yusheng)! And Laura's director is so cool for cheering for his staff to win the lucky draw.

Speaking of Yahoo!, I wish I was free enough to, as we (Xun Cat me) used to do, download/play Yahoo!Games. I miss Lemonade Tycoon and TyperShark.
