As you can tell from my 2-day hiatus, I'm actually busy at work now (:
Only am too far away from civilisation, so cannot drop in on Pet/Jo/CW in town!
Smirks. Estelle I know how to conjugate the verb "to f***" in French!
Hwei it's so true what! Altho I haven't seen you solving Wheel of Fortune puzzles lately (:

Cookies today, cinnamon rolls next week! :D Am on way to become, uh, top pastry chef. Then can become like psycho Belgian/French chefs at Shang (where I worked in sec3) and storm around the kitchen swearing in French.
Hmm. I can't swear in French.
Estelle: From Watsons:)
First timesheets today- can't believe we've to record how we spent
every single hour in the office. Whoever made that programme even thoughtfully added a job description that says "
Idle Time (personal)" where Hwei can put all her Wheel-spinning puzzle-solving hours :)
I spent an hour learning how to work that timesheets programme properly, and probably another hour figuring out what tasks to put where.
Now we have to develop a conditioned reflex action in asking, "
Is it chargeable?" immediately after we're given something to do. It makes us sound terribly mercenary!

I miss school.
Specifically, I want Hwa Chong's 5-day CNY weekend.
Life isn't fair!
@12:13 AM
I can't remember what I was gonna say.
The guy sitting 2 cubes away plays Robbie Williams/Britney Spears/Vanessa Mae during lunch break; it's the only culture (purists like ZK would so cringe) in the office, other than the red-and-yellow pineapples on the ceiling and the plundered dish of gold-tael-chocolates near the door.
My first attempt at baking chewycookies was successful! Hweiching's given her stamp of approval which means I Can Bake :D Betty Crocker brownies available on request (speaking of which I miss Judith's from-scratch recipe), but as Jo puts it, I have to like you first, so fill out an application form=]

Working life's been dry and mundane. Literally dry, since I realised my hair's got static in the office :X Highlights include Yami Yoghurt (addictive) at Caltex House, watching Hweiching play Wheel of Fortune online, emailing similarly bored people at work, and having Serene coming to work a few (about 10) blocks away! :)
Working involves doing boring repetitive tasks where you stare mindlessly for hours at either a pile of paper, shelf of files, or a computer screen. A thought that amuses me when poring through Rich People's tax files is finding Sheryl a Very Rich Godfather and Andre, a Very Rich Godmother (or was it the other way around?).
I've been so bored not having much to do this week, that I've run out of sites to visit on my laptop (first employment perk).
I like opening tax files, 'cos you get to stick pretty colourful labels on them- this news received with much indignation by Junwan, who, working at a rival firm, only gets boring white stickers! =] All the best to Peiying's potted mint plant.
I saw Colin Montgomerie putt at Caltex House! Except that then I didn't know who it was.
