Serene: I can't tag your blog! But re: your last entry, I aim to please:)

Yeah okay I'll start... on Thursday, when we ventured into thehallowedhalls of that fine institution along Dover Road. Was a total drag. Took bus to Orchard, where Jo ate (what's new) and then we tried to find our way to the Pyramid Club. I tell you, it's almost like a treasure hunt or some Indiana Jones-type adventure: The Quest for the Pyramid Club is kinda catchy! Anyways. Ended up calling Eng Siang while Estelle Jo and I were standing in the middle of Scotts Road outside Goodwood Park Hotel with cars whizzing past us.
Turned out that we had to trek all the way back in the direction of my lovely alma mater O_O Gee. I always hated walking from RG to Far East, that's why they have buses. But in any case we found ourselves trudging along Stevens Road and complaining nonstop. Took an inconspicuous turn somewhere along the way- road in question was a small little driveway flanked by JUNGLE, not somewhere three girls (or any number of girls for that matter) would want to be at 7pm. Spooky. Hiked for about forever until we found this nondescript rickety sign with a picture of a pyramid on it (I told you, it's like one of those Osborne mystery books!) and below it was one of those brown varsity flags saying, well, Brown, and oddly enough, it was pointing to the drain nearby (it wasn't one of those secret passages; I checked:).
So, follow the brown flags! Doesn't this remind you of the Amazing Race?:)
Somehow I remember more about the trip to the club than the talk itself; look for Estelle or Jo if you're interested in Brown:)

Today was hilarious, as Jo/Sheryl/Estelle/Serene can tell you:) I found out what nanyang qiang means. Actually I've never heard the phrase before, but you learn something new everyday. For example, Sheryl learned that she can turn her camera sound off. Jo learned that it doesn't pay to help your friend if she has a noisy camera. Estelle... i'm not sure what Estelle learnt tho=)

Finally have good lit to read! The Life of Pi! S-Lit is tiring because for once in my life I have to think about what to read. Will have to cure self of poseurish dilettante interest in deep profound literature and actually read said literature so as to enrich self and be smart:)

I should start a regular column called Pet's Phrases.

Pet, on XXX guy we saw with his dad: "Is his dad cute?"
Later, after I accused her of coffin-snatching: "I'm just tracing the genes okay!"

Hahahahahaaaaa.

Pet, snickering at Sheryl's NZ land acquisition: "So what do you want land in New Zealand for? To grow sheep on is it?"

Ohhhh. So the "OC" in that weird TV series The OC stands for Orange County. I always thought it was, like, ObsessiveCompulsive or something, the way they keep screwing/killing each other in the trailer. Top Model is tomorrow; that means I can tune in tomorrow night and hope again for Robyn to pack her bags.
