Hahahahaa. Remember the song in RG that went, "
I'm a bow-legged chicken/I'm a knock-kneed hen"?
Yeah I can't wait for Ebony to go! Altho' Robyn out would work just as well:)
Hope everyone had a ball of a time at
Capriccio. Heard Estelle (now frequently abbreviated in smses as "Est") did a tapdance routine! :D
Yay met Clar and Jane on Friday, and Lyd on Sat. The weekend for catching up with old friends! Sorry to say, as Lyd succintly put it, "I don't think you'll be seeing Audry (and the rest) for a really long time." Sounds like they're going off to the Himalayas or something, even though Puee once pointed out verydryly that "We're all still on the same tiny island what."
Anyways. GUSTO (the restaurant at Wisma, the one which exhibits their kitchen staff in an adjacent shop) isn't as posh as it makes itself out to be; they let Lyd in when she was wearing her RJ jersey, smelt of Macritchie, and was toting her canoe paddle (which nearly decapitated about 5 people)! Cool staff:)
Sidenote. I didn't know they held canoe races in Macritchie reservoir. What exactly are we drinking? O.o
Okay this post is going in reverse-chronological order, and I think it's lapsing into pointless narrative. Tottered around town for a good part of Friday. Ushered at this convention called ARTivities (which sounds like someone who can't speak English- think someone in HC- saying "activities"). Highlight of my time at the convention centre hadhadhad to be the FOOD. Suntec catering rocks:) Yeah I don't really remember what happened at the convention (probably nothing consequential) except that after it we were stuffing our faces like PIGS (good food). And that Johnny ate 192378192736 chicken wings;)
Clar and I walked (Clar walked, I tottered) around Orchard shopping for Lydia's birthday present, which wasn't very much of an intellectual exercise (shopping, as Chengwei can testify, is never very intellectual, and shopping for Lydiakhan is even less so). But that was balanced out by my taking a stab at the RJ Physics CT paper! :) I'm proud to say that I can vaguely recall some of the words that floated around on the pages:) Electromagnetic induction? Electrons? :)
By a strange twist of fate we managed to see Jane! :D Bring back the good old days of no-holds-barred bitchin'! Miss you muchly!
Oh right. Thursday. Dramafeste rehearsals, deja vu. Loads of laughter. Huixuan and Zarine went into fits after this SAFOS scholar ad, which showed a guy (alone, with a sad cheesy smile). Line accompanying this was "Pictures of Austin! With the same woman!":) Joel tried to kill me, think am getting used to it. Shuki is a cow, with a noisy (endearing, haha) monkey.

Estelle, trumphantly: "Haha! Kai and I have converted you! Now you watch
America's Next Top Model too!"
My gosh I'd dieeeee to afford to get all those bags of Revlon that Jay Manuel (camp-ish makeup artist) totes around!
Speaking of reality TV. We might have our own Will Hung in college! :D And Serene's life begins (again) today because there's AMERICAN IDOL! :)

Estelle: I love my friends :) Oh. And, I will work harder. (Math sucks) And. We. Are. So busybody:)
Kai: American Idol uses computers; how inaccurate can they be? These Taiwanese, on the other hand, happen to count BY HAND. I watched them tallying on TV. It's so easy to fake those! Anyways. Am going to watch Tyra Banks' publicity stunt (America's Next Top Model?) so I can tell you and Estelle whether that Elise person is hot or not :)
