And I got through American Beauty in my semi-drugged state today :) It's really beautiful cinematography, and Mendes deserves his Oscar too! Altho' I think the Ricky's-dad-is-a-fag thing is hella contrived. And I gave up counting the porn shots (not that there were a lot of them, CW). It ain't my movie of the year, but it's a really good one:)
